Today we're shipping Stream Overlays — a free browser tool for making OBS-ready stream overlays. Pick a template, customize colors and fonts, wire your Kick channel, export self-contained HTML, and add it to OBS as a Browser Source. The file lives on your machine. No subscription. No account wall on the core loop.
What you get
Stream Overlays is an overlay maker, not a pack store. You design in the browser and download a real overlay file — HTML (or a ZIP with assets) that OBS loads locally. Live Kick chat and stats run from that export during your stream.
That matters because most "free overlay" tools either watermark the export, trap you in a cloud dashboard, or sell you a static PNG that can't do live chat. We built the opposite: a sharp path from template to export, with Kick-native wiring baked in.
How the loop works
- Open the builder or start from a template lander.
- Set your Kick channel, theme, fonts, and layout.
- Export HTML or ZIP for OBS.
- Add a Browser Source in OBS pointing at the local file.
